PepsiCo is "turning to former NFL players" for its latest campaign, which sees Dan Marino, Randy Moss, Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith "batting around the idea of 'unretiring' and getting back on the field." Marino "needs reading glasses to see the play call wristband," and Smith "accidentally falls asleep on the bench." The spot, made in-house, also features Bills QB Josh Allen in his "first campaign as part of his new multi-year partnership with PepsiCo." Tom Brady and Julian Edelman also "briefly appear" (AD AGE, 8/30).
