J Balvin and Valentina Ferrer made a date night out of the U.S. Open on Tuesday, sitting in the stands at Arthur Ashe Stadium while attending the second day of the Grand Slam tournament. The singer opted for an all-green ensemble, wearing a knit polo, pleated trousers and a bold pair of square frames. Ferrer, meanwhile, sported a plunging cream knit tank, matching low-rise cargo pants and chunky gold chain jewelry. The model also accessorized with a pair of oval tortoiseshell sunglasses.

Balvin and Ferrer were hosted by Maestro Dobel, the U.S. Open’s first official tequila partner. Seal and Ariana DeBose were also among the liquor brand’s esteemed guests.

Balvin began dating Ferrer, a model and former Miss Argentina, in 2018. They welcomed their first child, a son, in 2021.

The Latin pop singer has cultivated a following in the fashion world, sitting front row at Dior’s and Louis Vuitton’s menswear runway presentations in June, and collaborating with Guess on a colorful capsule collection pegged to his album “Vibras” in 2019.

The U.S. Open kicked off Monday night at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in the Queens borough of New York City. The first day of the tennis tournament drew a number of celebrities, including former U.S. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, Vera Wang, Katie Couric and Lindsey Vonn.

Spanish pro Carlos Alcaraz and Serbia’s Novak Djokovic are expected to face off in this year’s men’s finals after a nail-biting matchup at Wimbledon in July, which saw Alcaraz take home the trophy. Meanwhile, Iga Swiatek of Poland is expected to sweep the women’s singles category.
